Dear colleagues,

We have just held in-depth and candid discussions on prominent problems currently affecting the world economy such as climate change, refugees, anti-terrorist financing, and cooperation on global public health, and many valuable views and suggestions have arisen. The international community needs a strong political will to address them steadfastly and with commitment. I have listened to your views carefully and I think they can boil down to the following points:

On climate change, we all agree to complete domestic procedures as soon as possible, in order to create conditions for the early entry into effect of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. We will continue to uphold the principles of common but differentiated responsibilities, fairness, and respective capabilities. On climate finance, we should provide and mobilize funds in an effective and transparent way, taking climate change as an important factor in international finance.

On the refugee problem, we all agree to identify its root causes, and take effective measures to speed up the political settlement process. We should provide protection and support for refugees and the displaced, and hope all countries will play their part, including resettlement programs and offering other forms of humanitarian asylum and aid to help the displaced return home soon.

On countering terrorist finance, we all consider that two important means of fighting terrorism are to find effective ways of cutting the sources of funding and to strengthen cooperation in information exchange, technology and law. In the meantime, we should combine these with other counter-terrorism measures to treat both symptoms and root causes.

On public health, we all believe that we should take into consideration the practical needs and abilities of all parties, and the effectiveness and accessibility of public health products designed to address challenges and protect human life and health. The problem of antimicrobial resistance is becoming ever more serious and deserves our attention.

We have noted that, in seeking solutions to these problems, the key is to solve development issues.Meanwhile, we must respect the national conditions of every country, and increase coordination and cooperation.

The international community is a community in which we share our future, and settle problems confronting us through discussions. We should strengthen communication, and identify common ground while resolving differences. In addressing prominent problems affecting the world economy, we should respect each other's core interests and major concerns, listen to the appeals and demands of other countries, and each make our due contribution to world economic growth and international development.
